How Calculated

  • Backing width and batting width use the finished quilt width plus 8".
  • Backing length and batting length use the finished quilt length plus 8".
  • Binding length uses quilt perimeter plus 20" for corners and joining.
  • Seam allowance is not calculated here. Follow your quilt pattern for individual cutting dimensions and seam allowance.
